To be honest, watching an independent European musical movie scares me a little bit. It has the huge potential to bore me. And I usually do not have time in this world to be bored. But considering I am now having lots of free time, I can afford to be bored. So I try to watch Once, an independent European musical movie that is said to be good.

I mean I know the songs for a long time. And I love it, especially the song 'Falling Slowly'. But I never have the curiosity to watch it. Well, not until now.

The movie was everything that I expected. It was a little bit slow and predictable (umm, the more appropriate words that probably have the same meaning with boring), but I wasn’t disappointed at all. It has strong score music and beautiful message about not giving up on your dream. The most important thing is, the story, the act, the ending is clearly believable. It can happen to anyone.

I also like the way the director create the the character without putting any name. Just the 'girl' and the 'guy', no detail background, they just put the essential things on the screen and forget about the rest. I like this idea.

It was OK for me.
